What Happened
Your vehicle has a small plug in the rear wheelhouse that keeps exhaust gases from entering the passenger area. Unfortunately, some of these plugs are loose or missing on certain models.
Risk if Unfixed
If the plug is missing or loose, exhaust gases could leak into the passenger compartment, potentially causing serious health risks like illness, unconsciousness, or even death.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT DUTY PICKUP TRUCKS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. SOME OF THESE VEHICLES HAVE LOOSE OR MISSING REAR WHEELHOUSE PLUGS. UNDER CERTAIN VEHICLE OPERATING CONDITIONS, EXHAUST GASES CAN FLOW FORWARD AND ACCUMULATE IN THE REAR WHEELHOUSE.
