What Happened
The seat pivot bolts in your Ranger or Bronco are the small metal pieces that hold the seat's height-adjustment mechanism in place. In some 2024-2026 models, these bolts can come loose or even fall out.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pivot bolt is loose or missing, your seat might not keep you securely in place during a crash. This could lead to serious injury.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts as needed, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and you can call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 for more information.
