What Happened
The fender flares on your Bronco are the protective panels around the wheels. In some 2022-2026 models, they might not be securely attached and could come loose while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If a fender flare comes loose, it could fly off while you're driving and become a hazard on the road. This could cause another driver to swerve or crash, putting your safety and theirs at risk.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will check and fix or replace the fender flares to make sure they're secure, at no cost to you. Just wait for the recall notice and schedule the repair when it's convenient.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Bronco vehicles. The fender flares may not be properly secured and detach from the vehicle.

A detached fender flare can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and repair, or replace the fender flares as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed August 10, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in late August 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S47. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning August 7, 2026.
