What Happened
The pivot bolt is a crucial part that keeps your front seat securely in place. In some 2024-2026 Rangers and Broncos, this bolt might be loose or even fall out.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bolt comes loose, your seat might not keep you safe in a crash. You could be at risk of serious injury.

Your Ford dealer will check and replace the pivot links and bolts if they're loose or missing — at no cost to you. This repair will make sure your seat is secure, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Ranger and Bronco vehicles. The front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S30. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 30, 2026.
