BMW will inspect and replace the brake discs on both the right and left front wheels, free of charge, when you take your vehicle to a dealership.

The integrated brake system in your vehicle is crucial for stopping safely. The rotor and shaft inside this system might not have been welded correctly, which could cause a serious problem.

If your brakes fail during hard braking, you'll lose the assistance of the Antilock Brake System (ABS) and other braking features. This could make it harder to stop your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the entire integrated brake system with a new one, at no cost to you. You'll receive a letter with instructions on how to schedule the repair, and you should do so as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.

Your vehicle's steering column shaft may have a loose universal joint connection that wasn't tightened correctly when it was assembled. This part connects to the steering wheel and helps control the direction of your car.

If it's not fixed, a loose steering column shaft universal joint connection can make your car harder to steer, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
BMW will contact you and fix the problem for free. They'll check the steering column shaft and either tighten the bolt that holds it in place or replace the whole shaft, universal joint, and bolt if needed.
