Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's rear taillight is the light on the back that signals to other drivers when you're slowing down or stopping. In some 2013-2015 BMW 7 series models, the left rear taillight might have been installed incorrectly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the taillight is not working correctly, other drivers might not see you slowing down or stopping, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will check your taillight and replace it with the correct one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
