Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP
Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel pump in your Audi is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain 2019-2021 Q8 and 2020-2021 Q7 models, a small internal component can break, causing the pump to fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump fails while you're driving, your engine could suddenly stall, leaving you without power steering and power brakes. This could make it harder to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible, and you can contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834 for more information.
