AIR BAGS:SENSOR:OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION:FRONT PASSENGER

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The front passenger air bag sensor in your vehicle is a critical safety system that helps the air bag deploy in a crash. In some 2023-2024 Audi models, this sensor's electrical connection can come loose, causing the air bag to shut off.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag is deactivated, it won't deploy during a crash, which could lead to serious injury to the front passenger. This is a life-threatening situation, and you need to address it as soon as possible.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the air bag sensor with a new one that ensures the front passenger air bag works correctly – and it's free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice, which was mailed on May 8, 2024.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
Your Audi's rearview camera system relies on software to display a clear image of what's behind your vehicle. Unfortunately, a glitch in the software might cause the image to fail to show up on your screen.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview image doesn't display, you'll have a reduced view of the area behind your vehicle, making it harder to see children, pets, or obstacles. This could increase the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the camera software for free, so you can get a clear view behind your vehicle. You should schedule the update as soon as you get the recall notice – it won't cost you a thing.
