What Happened
The cylinder head cover screws in your Audi Q5 are like the bolts that hold the top part of your engine together. In some 2022-2024 models, these screws might not have been tightened correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the screws come loose, oil could leak from your engine, and this increases the risk of a fire. A fire could start in the engine compartment, which is a serious safety issue.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will check the screws and replace them if they need it, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair when you get the recall notice, and you can contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 if you have any questions.
