SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The brake system in your E-Tron or E-Tron Sportback Quattro has a small, critical piece called the rotor and shaft that helps you stop. In some models, it may not be properly welded, which could cause it to break apart.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rotor and shaft separate, your vehicle's braking assistance could fail, and you might lose control of the vehicle, especially on the highway or when merging. This could lead to a serious accident.
Free Fix
Your authorized Audi dealer will replace the brake booster for free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice, and it's best done promptly to ensure your safety on the road.
