Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:FUEL RAIL
Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel rail in your vehicle is a critical part that supplies fuel to your engine. In some 2015-2018 Audi models (Q7, A6, A7, and A8), the left and right fuel rails can crack and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If a fuel leak occurs and there's a spark, it could ignite the fuel and cause a fire. This is a serious safety risk, especially in a confined space like your engine compartment.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel rails with new ones, free of charge.
