What Happened
The fuel rail in your vehicle is a critical part that supplies fuel to your engine. In some 2015-2018 Audi models (Q7, A6, A7, and A8), the left and right fuel rails can crack and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If a fuel leak occurs and there's a spark, it could ignite the fuel and cause a fire. This is a serious safety risk, especially in a confined space like your engine compartment.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel rails with new ones, free of charge.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Q7, A6 and A7 vehicles, and 2015-2018 Audi A8 vehicles. The left and right fuel rails may leak fuel.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase risk of a fire.
Original — Remedy
Audi has notified owners, and dealers will replace the left and right fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began February 28, 2019. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 24DP.

What Happened
The seal around the hood of your Audi is designed to keep hot engine parts safe from causing damage. However, in some 2013-2018 S8 and A8 models, this seal can come loose and potentially contact those hot parts.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seal touches the hot engine components, there's a higher chance of a fire starting in your engine compartment.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will install a special retaining plate to keep the seal in place, completely free of charge. When you get the recall notice, schedule a visit to have this fix done.
