Component

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel supply line in your Audi is like a flexible tube that brings gasoline to your engine. In some 2013-2016 A8 and S8 models, this tube can become damaged and start leaking fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the tube starts leaking, fuel could spill onto the hot engine or exhaust system, causing a fire. This could happen while you're driving, and a fire could spread quickly.
Free Fix
Audi will install a special device to absorb any pressure surges, preventing the tube from leaking fuel. This repair is free, and you should contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 to schedule the fix.
