What Happened
Your Audi's rear axle alignment might not have been checked after a previous repair. The rear axle is what connects your wheels to the rest of the vehicle.
Risk if Unfixed
If the axle is misaligned, your tires could wear down unevenly, which increases the risk of a crash. This could happen because you might lose control of your vehicle while driving.

The rear axle alignment may not have been inspected after the repairs for Recall 21V-295 (42L1) were performed.

SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:RETRACTOR

What Happened
The rear seat belt in your vehicle has a spring-loaded mechanism that locks the belt in place when it's fastened. In some 2021-2022 models, this mechanism can fail early, making it harder to secure a child seat.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rear seat belt doesn't lock properly, a child restraint system may not work as intended, increasing the risk of injury to a child in a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Volkswagen or Audi dealer will inspect and replace the faulty rear seat belt assemblies at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

The rear seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

What Happened
The wiring harness for your rear lights is the network of wires that connects your taillights to the rest of your car. In certain 2020-2021 Audi models, this harness might be missing a protective covering in the area where the spare tire is stored.
Risk if Unfixed
If your car gets rear-ended in an accident, the exposed wires could get damaged, causing your hazard lights to fail and your doors to become stuck, making it harder to get in or out safely.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will add protective covering to the wiring harness, free of charge. You'll receive a notification with the schedule for this repair, and you should follow up to get it done as soon as possible.
