What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In some aftermarket pumps used in your Subaru, there's a problem with a connection that could cause fuel to leak when the gas tank is full.
Risk if Unfixed
If fuel leaks onto the hot engine or exhaust system, it could ignite and cause a fire. This is a serious safety risk that could harm you or your passengers.
Free Fix
Airtex will replace your faulty fuel pump with a new one, free of charge. Your owner will be notified, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the notice.

Original — What Happened
Airtex Products LP (Airtex) is recalling certain model E8598M, E8518M, E8600M, E8596M, and E8597M fuel pumps manufactured July 26, 2013, and July 29, 2013 and used as aftermarket replacements on Subaru Baja's, Outback's and Legacy's. The affected fuel pumps were sold or installed into the aftermarket applications on or after July 26, 2013, and may may leak fuel from the base of a fuel line connection when the gas tank is full.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:CABLES

What Happened
The cruise control cable in your vehicle is the part that helps control the speed of your car when you're using cruise control. It's possible that this cable could work its way out of its track on the cruise control lever and get stuck.
Risk if Unfixed
If that happens, it could cause the throttle to stay open and not return to the idle position. This might make it hard for you to control your vehicle, and a crash could occur.
Free Fix
Your Subaru dealer will add a small clip to the cruise control lever tab to keep the cable in place, preventing this issue. This repair is free, and you'll be notified by mail – you can also contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783 to confirm your status.
