What Happened
The aluminum wheels on your vehicle have a slight misalignment that could cause a problem over time.
Risk if Unfixed
If the issue isn't fixed, the wheel nuts could come loose while you're driving, which could increase the risk of a serious crash.
Free Fix
Your Subaru dealer will replace all four of your aluminum wheels with new, properly aligned ones, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783 if it's not done in a reasonable time.

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 6-CYLINDER ENGINES, THE ALUMINUM WHEELS MAY HAVE AN OFF-CENTER DIAMETER.

THIS CAN RESULT IN THE EVENTUAL LOOSENING OF THE WHEEL HUB-NUTS DURING VEHICLE USAGE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Original — Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL 4 ALUMINUM WHEELS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN SEPTEMBER 12, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT SUBARU AT 1-800-782-2783.
