Component
POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:CENTER SUPPORT BEARING
Manufacturer
SUBARU OF AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
Your vehicle's center support bearing, which helps connect the drivetrain to the vehicle body, has a problem with the anti-rust coating. This coating can cause the bolt that holds the transverse link bracket to loosen over time.
Risk if Unfixed
If left unfixed, the bracket can come loose and cause the transverse link to separate from the vehicle frame, which can lead to serious safety issues.
Free Fix
Don't worry, this is free! The dealership will inspect your vehicle and remove the faulty anti-rust coating, then retighten the mounting bolt to the correct torque specification.
