What Happened
Your Ram 1500's rear seat belt buckles are attached to anchors that keep you safe in a crash. Unfortunately, some of these anchors weren't properly installed, which could be a problem.
Risk if Unfixed
If the anchor fails during a crash, your seat belt might not hold you in place, increasing the risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your authorized Ram dealer will inspect the anchor and attach it correctly to the vehicle's body structure, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice, and you can contact Chrysler's customer service at 1-800-853-1403 for more information.

Original — What Happened
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Original — Risk if Unfixed
An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 67D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on August 6, 2026.

What Happened
Chrysler is recalling your vehicle due to a potential problem with the front seat belt retractor. This part helps slow your forward movement in the event of a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If your front seat belts don't lock properly in a crash, you may be at higher risk of injury.
Free Fix
Chrysler will replace the front seat belt retractor in your vehicle at no cost to you. You'll be notified and should contact the dealership to schedule the free repair.

Original — What Happened
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Jeep Wrangler and Ram 2500, 2019-2020 Ram 1500 and 2020 Jeep Gladiator vehicles. In the event of a crash, a front seat belt retractor may not properly slow the occupant's forward movement after locking.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
In the event of a crash, if the front seat belts fail to lock, there is an increased risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front seat belt retractors, free of charge. The recall began November 12, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is W67.
