What Happened
Your vehicle's low-beam headlight adjustment screws are not properly covered, which can affect how well your headlights shine on the road.
Risk if Unfixed
If this issue isn't fixed, your headlights might not shine brightly enough, or they might shine too brightly on other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
A Porsche dealer will check your headlights and install the necessary caps to cover the adjustment screws, free of charge, as soon as possible.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2003-2020 Porsche Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, and Cayman S, 2001-2004 Boxster, Boxster S, 2004 Boxster 50 JAHRE SPYDER 550 vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of all affected models and model years. The caps that cover the low-beam headlight horizontal adjustment screws are missing, which can allow the headlights to be improperly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Improperly adjusted headlights may not illuminate the road properly, or cause a glare to oncoming drivers, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect the headlights for sealing caps and install missing caps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 28, 2022. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ANB4.

The headlight assembly on your vehicle has a small reflective piece that helps other drivers see your vehicle's position. Unfortunately, the headlights sold for your car may be missing this reflective piece.
Risk if Unfixed
Without this reflective piece, your vehicle's headlights might not be as visible to other drivers, especially at night or in low-light conditions. This could lead to a crash if other drivers don't see you coming.
Free Fix
Your dealer will provide a full refund for the non-compliant headlight assembly, and you should contact the manufacturer, Dope, Inc., at 1-626-272-1798 to arrange the refund.

The combination corner and bumper lamp assembly is the part that helps make your vehicle visible to other drivers and pedestrians in low-light conditions. Sabersport made some of these lamps without the required reflective strips, which can make your vehicle harder to see.
