The tiptronic transmission in your 2-door convertible has a cable that connects the ignition key to the gear selector. Sometimes, this cable wasn't adjusted correctly during assembly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the cable isn't adjusted right, you could accidentally roll away with your vehicle while it's parked, which could cause a crash. This is because the gear selector can shift out of 'P' (park) without you intending it to.
Free Fix
Your Porsche dealer will inspect and adjust the key-lock-cable to ensure it's working properly, and they'll do it for free. You should schedule the service as soon as you get the recall notice, and if there's a delay, contact Porsche at 1-800-545-8039.

Without this reflective piece, your vehicle's headlights might not be as visible to other drivers, especially at night or in low-light conditions. This could lead to a crash if other drivers don't see you coming.
