What Happened
The windshield and rear window on your 911 are designed to stay in place during an impact. However, in some 2020-2024 models, they might not be properly secured and could come loose.
Risk if Unfixed
If the windshield or rear window detaches during a crash, it could fail to deploy the front airbags properly. This could increase your risk of injury, as you won't have the protection you need.
Free Fix
Your authorized Porsche dealer will inspect and replace the windshield and rear window if necessary, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2024 911 vehicles. The front windshield and rear window may not be properly secured and can detach.

During air bag deployment, an unsecured windshield may not support the front air bags as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
