What Happened
Your front windshield and rear window may not be properly secured, which could cause them to detach.
Risk if Unfixed
If your windshield detaches during an air bag deployment, it may not support the air bags as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Free Fix
Dealers will inspect and replace your windshield and rear window at no cost to you. You'll receive a letter with instructions, or you can call Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243 for more information.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2024 911 vehicles. The front windshield and rear window may not be properly secured and can detach.

During air bag deployment, an unsecured windshield may not support the front air bags as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Original — Remedy

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Your vehicle may not display the rearview camera image when in reverse, which can make it harder to see what's behind you.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you might not see people, objects, or other cars behind your vehicle, which could lead to a crash.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2019-2025 Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid, 2020-2025 911, Taycan, 2024-2025 Panamera, and 2025 Panamera E-Hybrid vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

A rearview image that does not display properly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will update the driver assistance software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 13, 2026. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243.
