What Happened

What Happened

What Happened
The rearview camera is the system that shows you what's behind your vehicle when you put it in reverse. In some 2019-2025 Cayenne, 2020-2025 911, 2024-2025 Panamera, and 2025 Panamera E-Hybrid models, the camera image might not appear when you're in reverse.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview image doesn't show up, you'll be driving blind when reversing, which could lead to a crash or collision.
Free Fix
Your Porsche dealer will update the software for your driver assistance system, and this service is free of charge. You should schedule the update as soon as you get the recall notice.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2019-2025 Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid, 2020-2025 911, Taycan, 2024-2025 Panamera, and 2025 Panamera E-Hybrid vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
