What Happened
The Purolator fuel filter in your vehicle has a design flaw that could cause it to not connect properly with the tube, even if it looks like it's securely attached.
Risk if Unfixed
If this connection fails, fuel can leak out and, in the worst case, ignite and cause a fire, especially if there's an open flame nearby.
Free Fix
UFI will send you a replacement filter at no cost to you. You should contact UFI at 800-230-5876 to schedule the replacement, which started on August 4, 2006.

CERTAIN AFTERMARKET FUEL FILTERS SOLD UNDER THE PUROLATOR BRAND NAME, P/N F65277, SHIPPED FROM JANUARY 16 THROUGH JUNE 2, 2006, FOR USE ON THE ABOVE LISTED PASSENGER VEHICLES. DUE TO INCORRECT DESIGN, THE QUICK CONNECTORS MAY NOT FULLY SEAT WITH THE TUBE INTERFACE, EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON MAKING THE CONNECTION MAY BELIEVE THAT THE QUICK CONNECTOR IS FULLY ATTACHED.

FAILURE OF THIS CONNECTION COULD LEAD TO FUEL SPILLAGE AND, IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD OCCUR.

What Happened
The combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies on your vehicle are the lights that attach to the corners of your car and the front bumper. They're made by Sabersport, and some of these lamps don't have the required reflective strips on the sides.
Risk if Unfixed
If these lamps are on your vehicle, they might not be visible to other drivers, which could lead to a crash because your vehicle is harder to see.
Free Fix
Sabersport will give you a full refund for the non-compliant lamps, and you should contact them at 1-909-598-7589 to arrange for the refund.

SABERSPORT IS RECALLING 16,270 COMBINATION CORNER AND BUMPER LAMP ASSEMBLIES OF VARIOUS PART NUMBERS SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THESE LAMPS DO NOT CONTAIN THE REQUIRED AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS.
