AIR BAGS

Manufacturer

What Happened
The Occupant Classification System (OCS) is a computer that helps decide when to deploy the front passenger air bag. In certain 2010-2015 LR2 and 2012-2013 Range Rover Evoque models, this computer might fail, stopping the air bag from working properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If there's a crash and the air bag doesn't work right, the front seat passenger might not be protected, and could get seriously hurt.
Free Fix
Your Land Rover dealer will update the software in your vehicle's restraint system, ensuring the air bag works correctly – and it's free. You should schedule this update as soon as you get the recall notice.
