What Happened
Your vehicle's headlight system helps you see the road and be seen by others. Unfortunately, the current headlight assemblies on your vehicle don't meet safety standards, which could lead to reduced visibility and increased risk of accidents.
Risk if Unfixed
If your headlight system doesn't meet safety standards, it could make it harder for other drivers to see your vehicle, especially in low-light conditions. This increases the risk of a crash, which could cause injuries or even harm.
Free Fix
To ensure your safety and the safety of others, your Infiniti dealer will replace the headlight assemblies with new ones that meet the required safety standards - at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible after receiving the recall notice.

CERTAIN VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE "VERTICAL GRADIENT" AND "HEADLAMP PHOTOMETRIC VALUES" REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, 'LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.'

THIS STANDARD IS TO REDUCE CRASHES, INJURIES AND DEATHS BY PROVIDING ADEQUATE ILLUMINATION OF THE ROADWAY, AND BY ENHANCING THE CONSPICUITY OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE PUBLIC ROADS SO THAT THEIR PRESENCE IS PERCEIVED AND THEIR SIGNALS UNDERSTOOD, BOTH IN DAYLIGHT AND IN DARKNESS OR OTHER CONDITIONS OF REDUCED VISIBILITY.
