AIR BAGS Safety Recalls

High Priority #03V051000 Plain English
Component

AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE

Manufacturer
GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
What Happened
The air bag in your vehicle is a crucial safety feature that deploys to protect you in a collision. In some cases, the driver's side air bag might not work as intended, and the inflator could even break apart.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag doesn't deploy correctly, it might not be able to protect you in a crash, putting you at a higher risk of injury. If the inflator ruptures, sharp pieces could fly towards you and cause serious harm.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will inspect and replace the driver's air bag with a new one – at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
