What Happened
The engine wiring harness in your 2021-2026 Bronco or Bronco Raptor is the bundle of wires that connects various engine components. In some cases, this wiring can get damaged and cause a short circuit.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wiring short circuits, it could generate heat or sparks, which could lead to a fire in the engine compartment. This is a serious risk, especially when you're driving.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will wrap protective sheathing around the wiring to prevent damage and short circuits. This repair is free of charge, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles. The engine compartment wiring harness may become damaged and short circuit.

Dealers will install sheathing over the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning August 24, 2026.
