What Happened
The power steering system in your vehicle has a hose that sends hydraulic pressure to the steering gear. This hose can crack at the crimped end and leak fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If the power steering hose cracks, it could leak fluid onto your engine, which is hot. This could cause a fire, putting you and others at risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your authorized Chrysler dealer will inspect the power steering hose and replace it if it's damaged. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
