What Happened
The airbag in your passenger seat is designed to inflate in a crash to keep you safe. In some older models, the propellant in this airbag can break down over time, causing it to explode if it's deployed in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbag inflator fails, it could shatter into sharp metal fragments that could hit you or other passengers, causing serious injury or even death.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will replace the faulty airbag inflator with a new one free of charge. Don't drive your vehicle until the repair is done, and your dealer will contact you to schedule the fix.
