What Happened
A safety issue with the rear brake calipers on your vehicle may cause a loss of braking performance. This is because the coating on the brake caliper pistons may not be properly applied, leading to gas pockets forming and reducing the effectiveness of the brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake performance is reduced, you may be at a higher risk of being involved in a crash, which could result in injury or damage to your vehicle.
Free Fix
You will be notified by the manufacturer, and a free repair will be performed at a dealership to bleed the brake system and ensure proper brake function.
