What Happened
The power seat adjuster in your vehicle is the part that lets you adjust the height of your driver's seat. In some 2010-2012 models of your LaCrosse, Regal, Camaro, SRX, Equinox, and Terrain, this adjuster can come loose and cause your seat to drop suddenly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your seat drops unexpectedly, it could distract you and make it harder to control your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty adjuster bolts with new ones, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and it's recommended that you contact your manufacturer's customer service number to confirm the details.
