What Happened
The power seat adjuster in your vehicle is the part that lets you adjust the height of your driver's seat. In some 2010-2012 models of your LaCrosse, Regal, Camaro, SRX, Equinox, and Terrain, this adjuster can come loose and cause your seat to drop suddenly.
