What Happened
The steering knuckle in your vehicle is a critical part that connects the steering system to the wheels. The steering knuckle is made by Dorman, and in some cases, it can break at the hub, causing a serious problem.
Risk if Unfixed
If the steering knuckle breaks while you're driving, you could lose control of your vehicle and crash without warning. This is a very serious safety risk.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the defective steering knuckle with a new one at no cost to you. They'll also cover the labor costs, so you won't have to pay a thing.

Original — What Happened
DORMAN IS RECALLING 979 STEERING KNUCKLES, DORMAN P/NOS. 697-902 AND 697-903, SOLD UNDER DORMAN'S "OE SOLUTIONS<SUP>TM</SUP>" BRAND NAME, AND NAPA P/NOS. 7-8502 AND 7-8503 WHICH WERE SOLD FOR REPLACEMENT USE ON THE VARIOUS VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. A POTENTIAL MATERIAL OR DESIGN DEFECT COULD RESULT IN THE STEERING KNUCKLE BREAKING IN THE HUB AREA.
