What Happened
The power steering system in your vehicle is what makes it easier to steer while driving. In some 2015 Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax models, the part that helps control the power steering could get damaged by the steering column.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you might lose power steering assistance while driving, making it harder to steer the vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect and replace the damaged part with a new one, free of charge. You'll be notified and should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
