SUSPENSION:REAR

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The rear upper control arm in your BMW is a critical part that helps your vehicle stay stable and balanced, connecting the rear axle to the frame. In some 2019 X6 models, the bolts that hold this part in place might not be strong enough, which could cause it to break.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rear upper control arm breaks, your vehicle's handling and control could be compromised, making it harder to steer or brake. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially at higher speeds.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace both rear upper control arms with stronger ones, completely free of charge. Since your vehicle should still be on the dealer lot, you should contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 to schedule the repair as soon as possible.

Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect and tighten all the wheel bolts to ensure they're secure, and replace any that are damaged or worn out – all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
