Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The rear reflex reflectors on your vehicle are designed to make your car visible to other drivers, especially in low-light conditions. However, some 2013 5 Series models might have reflectors that don't reflect light as well as they should.
Risk if Unfixed
If your reflectors aren't working properly, other drivers might not see your vehicle, especially at night or in foggy conditions. This could increase the risk of a collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the rear reflex reflectors with new ones, at no charge to you. You'll be notified about the recall, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
