Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS
Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
The tail lights and brake lights on your 325i/330i are controlled by a circuit in the body panel. Over time, the contacts in this circuit can wear out and cause one or more of these lights to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the lights don't work properly, you won't be able to signal to other drivers when you're slowing down or turning. This could lead to a collision without warning.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will fix the problem free of charge, and you should contact them as soon as possible to schedule the repair.
