EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS

Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
The lights on the back of your BMW are controlled by electrical contacts that can wear out over time, causing some of the tail lights (like the brake light or turn signal) to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the lights on the back of your car are intermittent, you might not be able to warn other drivers of your intentions, which could lead to a crash without warning.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will fix the electrical contacts free of charge, so schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
