EXTERIOR LIGHTING Safety Recalls

Moderate #11V438000 Plain English
Component

EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS

Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
The rear lights on your 325i or 330i (made between 2001 and 2005) have electrical contacts that can wear out over time. This can cause one or more tail lights, brake lights, or turn signals to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the lights don't work properly, other drivers might not know when you're slowing down or turning - this could lead to a crash without warning.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will fix the issue for free. They'll notify you when it's time to bring your vehicle in for the repair.
