ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The turbocharger in your Audi is a device that uses air and fuel to make your engine more powerful. The oil strainer is a small filter that helps keep the turbocharger running smoothly by supplying lubricating oil.
Risk if Unfixed
If the oil strainer gets clogged, the turbocharger's bearings can wear out, causing the turbine wheel to rub against the housing or the shaft to break. This can make the engine stall, which could cause a loss of power steering and power brakes while driving – making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty oil strainer and change the oil in your engine, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your turbocharger continues to run smoothly and safely.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Manufacturer
Volkswagen of America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel line in your Audi S6 or S7 is responsible for delivering gasoline from the engine to the fuel injectors. Due to a manufacturing issue, this line may develop a small leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If there's a leak and a spark, the fuel could ignite, causing a fire. This is a serious risk, especially when you're driving or stationary with the engine running.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel line with a new, reliable one at no cost to you. You'll get a notification when the repair is scheduled, likely in late October.
