What Happened
The rear relaxation seats in your Audi A8 have a small metal rod called a rivet that holds the seat track in place. In some 2019 models, this rivet can break, causing the seat to malfunction.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat track rivet fails, the seat could separate from the car during a crash, which could increase the risk of injury.

Your Audi dealer will replace the passenger seat tracks with a safer design, free of charge. You'll receive a notification when the repair is ready, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
