What Happened
Your Audi A6 or A7 has fuel lines that carry gasoline from the tank to the engine. Over time, one of these lines can develop a weak spot where it's compressed, making it prone to cracking and leaking.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line leaks while you're driving, it could spill gasoline, which can ignite if there's an open flame nearby, causing a fire.
Free Fix
Audi will replace the fuel line with a new one at no cost to you. Schedule an appointment with your Audi dealer as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2012-2014 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles. The fuel line has a compression point that can weaken, potentially resulting in a fuel leak.

What Happened
The fuel hose in your Audi is the part that connects the fuel tank to the engine. In some 2012-2013 A6 and A7 models, this hose can deteriorate over time and start leaking fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the hose leaks fuel and there's an ignition source nearby, like a spark from the engine, it could catch fire and cause serious damage to your vehicle, or even lead to a dangerous situation.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel hose and the fuel pump under the hood with new ones, at no cost to you. You'll receive a notice with instructions on how to schedule the repair, which is completely free.

What Happened
The fuel rail in your vehicle is a critical part that delivers fuel to the engine. In some 2011-2013 models, this rail may develop a leak that could cause a serious problem.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel rail leaks, it could ignite and cause a fire in or around your vehicle. This is a serious risk, especially if you're driving near an ignition source like an open flame or sparks.
Free Fix
Your Audi or Volkswagen dealer will replace the faulty fuel rail and seals, completely free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
