What Happened
The fuel hose in your Audi is like a flexible tube that carries gasoline from the engine to the fuel pump. In some 2012-2013 A6 and A7 models, this hose can break down and start leaking fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel hose leaks and ignites, it could cause a fire in the engine compartment. This could lead to serious damage, injury, or even a complete loss of control.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace both the hose and the fuel pump with new ones, free of charge. You should schedule the repair when you get the recall notice.
