What Happened
The fuel rail in your Q7, A6, A7, or A8 is the tube that sends gasoline to your engine. In some 2015-2018 models, these tubes can develop a leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel rail leaks and there's a spark, it could ignite the fuel and cause a fire. This is a serious safety risk, especially if you're driving or parked near a flammable source.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel rails with new ones, and it's completely free. You should contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 to schedule the repair and get more information about Audi's recall number 24DP.

Original — What Happened
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Q7, A6 and A7 vehicles, and 2015-2018 Audi A8 vehicles. The left and right fuel rails may leak fuel.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase risk of a fire.
Original — Remedy
Audi has notified owners, and dealers will replace the left and right fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began February 28, 2019. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 24DP.
