What Happened
The fuel line in your Audi A6 or A7 is the tube that carries gasoline from the tank to your engine. In some 2012-2014 models, this line can develop a weak spot that might cause a leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line leaks, it could ignite if there's an open flame nearby, which could cause a fire.
Free Fix
Audi will replace the faulty fuel line with a new one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible when you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2012-2014 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles. The fuel line has a compression point that can weaken, potentially resulting in a fuel leak.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, increases the risk of a fire.
Original — Remedy
Audi will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line, free of charge. The recall began February 5, 2018. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-888-237-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 20AR.
