The seat belt cable in your vehicle is a crucial part that connects the seat belt to the seat. Over time, it can weaken and break, keeping you from being properly secured in the event of a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat belt cable fails, you could be thrown around the cabin or even ejected from the vehicle during a crash, which could lead to serious injury or even death.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will replace the seat belt cable with a stronger, more reliable one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
