Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2019 Atlas vehicles. The suction jet in the fuel tank may have been welded in the incorrect position allowing fuel to leak. Additionally, the vehicle may stall due to uneven fuel distribution.

TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS

What Happened
The tire pressure monitoring system on your vehicle is what alerts you when your tires are low on air. But in some 2019-2021 models, this system may not detect a sudden drop in pressure across all four tires, which could be a problem.
Risk if Unfixed
If all four tires lose air at the same time, you might not get a warning, and your vehicle could be more difficult to steer or brake. This increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen or Audi dealer will update the software for your TPMS system, which is free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice in the mail.

(Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan LWB, Golf Sportswagen A7, Golf Alltrack, Golf R GP, Audi Q3, Audi A3 Cabriolet, 2019-2020 Jetta NF, Jetta GLI, Golf GTI, Atlas, Golf A7, Audi A3, 2020-2021 Atlas Cross Sport, and 2021 Atlas FL vehicles. The tire pressure monitoring system may not detect an air pressure loss in adequate time when deflating occurs among all four tires simultaneously. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."

The sidewalls of the tires on your Atlas are the part that keep the air in and the road out. In some 2018-2019 models, the sidewalls may have been over-cured during production.

The headlight system in your Passat or Atlas allows you to adjust the beam of light to shine where you need it most. But in some 2012-2020 Passats and 2018-2019 Atlases, the mechanism that stops the beam from getting too high or too low wasn't installed correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the headlight aim isn't blocked, it could be directed upwards or downwards, reducing your visibility when driving at night and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen dealer will check the headlight adjustment and block it to the correct setting if necessary – all for free. You'll get a notice when the fix is ready, and you can schedule the repair at your convenience.

In certain 2018-2019 Volkswagen Atlas, Tiguan, and Jetta models without keyless entry, this cluster might not beep when you leave your key in the ignition when the door is open.

If you're not warned with a beep, you could accidentally leave your key in the ignition when you get out of the vehicle. This increases the risk of theft or a crash, because someone could drive away with your car.
