SUSPENSION:REAR:SPRINGS:COIL SPRINGS

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The rear coil springs in your vehicle are the flexible parts that help absorb bumps on the road. In some 2015-2019 models, these springs can break earlier than expected, even before their normal lifespan.
Risk if Unfixed
If a coil spring breaks while driving, it could cause your rear tire to blow out. This could lead to loss of control of your vehicle and increase the risk of a serious crash.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen dealer will replace the rear axle coil springs with new ones, all at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
