What Happened
Toyota is recalling your 2022-2025 Tundra or Tundra Hybrid to replace the back up lights, which might be failing due to moisture entering the light assemblies.
Risk if Unfixed
If your back up lights fail, it could be harder for pedestrians and other drivers to see your vehicle when you're backing up, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
A Toyota dealer will replace both back up light assemblies and fix any damaged wire harnesses at no cost to you, and you can contact them at 1-800-331-4331 if you have any questions.

Original — What Happened
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles. Moisture may enter the reverse light assemblies and cause a light failure.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
Reverse light failure may reduce visibility, and not alert pedestrians and other drivers that the vehicle is backing up, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace both reverse light assemblies and repair the wire harnesses as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed May 23, 2026. This is a phased recall. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331.Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24TB06 and 24TA06.
